The Greek club Panathinaikos announced the return of Moroccan player Azzedine Ounahi, arriving from Spain's Girona.
Despite attempts by Dutch club Ajax to sign him, Ounahi ultimately returned to Greece, specifically to the team he had left just one year ago.
The Greek club posted a video on its social media accounts, accompanied by a message stating: "The magic has returned."
After an outstanding period with Girona, Ounahi will now return to the fans of the Greek club, who voted him as the best player of the 2024-2025 season.
Ounahi played for Panathinaikos since the beginning of the 2024-2025 season on loan from France's Marseille, before transferring last summer to Spain's Girona.
While wearing the Greek club's jersey, Ounahi played 37 matches, scoring 5 goals and providing 7 assists.
