Osorio: I tried to sign Hossam Abdel Majeed for Mexican Tijuana.. and I thank Shikabala

The Colombian Juan Carlos Osorio, former Zamalek coach, revealed his desire to sign Hossam Abdel Majeed for a Mexican club previously.

Juan Carlos Osorio, former Zamalek coach, said via "MBC Egypt 2": "Very happy about Hossam Abdel Majeed approaching professionalism in Bulgaria. He is a wonderful player and I tried to include him for the Mexican club Tijuana when I was the team's coach two years ago, but the deal was not completed".

He added, "I thank the Zamalek fans very much for the period I spent as coach of the team, as well as Shikabala after he described me as the best coach in his career".

Shikabala had described Osorio in television statements via "MBC Egypt 2" as the best foreign coach who worked in the Egyptian league, and the best coach who trained him.

Osorio left the coaching of Zamalek in November 2023 after nearly 7 months since assuming the responsibility of coaching the White.

Osorio led Zamalek during 25 matches and achieved victory in 13, drew in 6, and lost 6 other matches.

During the 25 matches, Zamalek under Osorio's leadership conceded 32 goals while scoring 51.
