Victor Osimhen, the Galatasaray striker, attacked his club's fans after being subjected to criticism, against the backdrop of the crisis of delayed financial dues.

According to what was circulated, the Nigerian striker sent an official notice to the Galatasaray administration due to not receiving his salary for three months, before responding angrily to the fans' criticisms.
Osimhen said via a live broadcast on his official Instagram account: "I have not received my salary for three months, and if it weren't for my presence, no one in the world would have known Galatasaray. If you don't give me my dues, I will leave, you are ungrateful."
Osimhen joined Galatasaray in the summer of 2025 and his contract with the team ends in the summer of 2029.
He played 74 matches with them, scoring 59 goals and assisting 16 others.
Osimhen achieved two Turkish League titles and a Turkish Cup title with Galatasaray, and won the Player of the Season award once.
