Press reports have revealed details of the Spanish club Real Madrid’s new offer to sign the Ivorian winger Yan Diomande, star of the German club Leipzig, during the current summer transfer window.
David Ornstein, the journalist at The Athletic, confirmed that Real Madrid had submitted an initial offer to sign Diomande about ten days ago, but Leipzig rejected it.
He explained that the Merengues recently returned with an improved offer worth €120 million, including €100 million in fixed fees.
He noted that Real Madrid has not yet received a response from Leipzig, and it is also expected to be rejected, although all parties are confident that an agreement can be reached in due course.
He added that Paris Saint-Germain has begun exploring other options in the transfer market after announcing its withdrawal from the deal, as the French club is not prepared to meet Leipzig’s financial demands in addition to the young player’s salary.
