Al Ahly Club is holding ongoing talks with Enppi Club to buy Hamed Abdullah, the Petroleum team player, during the summer transfer window.
Al Ahly has expressed a desire to sign Hamed Abdullah to bolster the winger position following the departure of Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet from the squad.
A source said in an exclusive statement to Yalla Koura: "Al Ahly is in ongoing negotiations with Enppi to buy Hamed Abdullah."
A source inside Al Ahly added: "More than one negotiation session has been held between the two parties, but they have not reached an agreement so far."
The source clarified his statements: "Enppi officials view Hamed Abdullah as the player with the highest marketing value among their players in the past season, in addition to his participation in the FIFA U-20 World Cup."
The source concluded his statements: "Al Ahly wants to buy the player for the same value and under the same conditions with which they signed Ali Mahmoud and Aktay Abdullah, Enppi's players."
Al Ahly had signed Ali Mahmoud and Aktay Abdullah from Enppi Club during the summer transfer window.
