Manchester City's head coach, Enzo Maresca, announced the club's four captains for the current 2026/27 season during an official press conference on Friday.
Manchester City is preparing to face Coventry City in the third round of the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon, following victories against Bournemouth and Crystal Palace in their previous two matches.
According to Enzo Maresca, Ruben Dias, Erling Haaland, Marc Guehi, and Gianluigi Donnarumma will serve as Manchester City's four captains this season.

The selection of Marc Guehi came as a surprise to fans, especially since he only joined Manchester City last January.
Ruben Dias wore the captain's armband for Manchester City in the team's first two matches this season. Previously, Marc Guehi captained his former club, Crystal Palace, while Donnarumma serves as captain of the Italian national team.
As for Haaland, he is currently in his fifth season with Manchester City and holds an increasingly important and influential role, being described by the club's official website as one of the experienced elements in the current squad.
