Manchester City's opening goal came through player Mubama in the 14th minute with a low shot inside the penalty area following a great effort from Antoine Semenyo.
Inter Milan's right-back Benjamin Pavard managed to score the equalizer against Manchester City in the 19th minute after firing a powerful shot inside the penalty area benefiting from Federico Dimarco's decisive pass.
The match went to penalty kicks which the Nerazzurri won 3-1 against the Sky Blues.
Marmoush's absence from the City and Inter clash
Manchester City coach Enzo Maresca had indicated that Omar Marmoush would join the team's delegation in Hong Kong this Saturday morning in preparation for the new season.
Maresca noted that the Egyptian international would join the camp alongside Portuguese players Ruben Dias and Matheus Nunes after receiving additional rest following their international participations in the 2026 World Cup.
