Omar Kamal Abdel Wahed, currently playing for El Mokawloon and formerly for Al Ahly, clarified his stance on joining Zamalek should they request to sign him.
Omar Kamal stated on DMC Channel: "I rejected an offer from Pyramids FC worth 80 million Egyptian pounds in order to join Al Ahly, where I received only 30% of what Pyramids had offered."
He added, "I did not receive any dues from Al Ahly during the current season before my departure, but 'what belongs to Al Ahly never disappears'."
He emphasized, "I do not suffer from any chronic injury."
He continued, "I went to Al Ahly while on loan at Ceramica Cleopatra for rehabilitation under Ahmed Sameh. Then I found that people at Ceramica Cleopatra were saying I was rehabilitating at Al Ahly. Some statements emerged from Moataz El-Batawy, the sporting director of Ceramica Cleopatra Club, claiming that I suffer from a chronic back injury."
He further said, "Walid Salah El-Din was greatly wronged; he did everything possible to ensure players felt comfortable. It is rare to find a team manager who does not seek to deduct money from players."
He added, "It is possible that the way players interacted with each other changed due to salary disparities, and perhaps this was among the reasons for his departure."
He revealed, "I felt injustice after leaving Al Ahly, and my departure was not for technical reasons."
He confirmed, "Hassan Amouta treated me poorly during one training session."
He explained, "The assistant coach gave me a specific jersey for one team during a training split, but then I found my name listed with the other team. I asked the assistant coach to change the jersey, but he insisted that was correct. During training, Amouta discovered the mistake, spoke to me angrily, and told me I lacked focus and awareness. I responded by asking him not to speak to me in that manner, then I left. Afterward, the treatment changed, I fell out of his plans, and he requested that I play with the youth team."
He disclosed, "I learned I was excluded from the Spain camp four days before it began, despite having completed the entire preparation period. I held a meeting with Sayed Abdel Hafeez alongside my father."
Regarding whether he would celebrate if he scored against Al Ahly, he said: "If I score against Al Ahly, I will celebrate only by prostrating in prayer."
He concluded, "As for the possibility of joining Zamalek? I am a professional player and was honored to play for Al Ahly, but I would not object to moving to any club in the world that wants me."
Omar Kamal transferred to El Mokawloon Al Arab during last summer's transfer window.
