Ivan Chebanenko, the technical director of the Ukrainian club Oleksandriya, revealed the latest developments in the financial dues crisis regarding the transfer deal of the Brazilian Juan Bezerra to Zamalek.

Zamalek had announced yesterday through official statements by the club's vice president, Hisham Nasr, that all remaining issues, especially Bezerra, had been resolved, followed by clarifications that the Ukrainian club had rejected the settlement and was supposed to have sent the full amount yesterday.

Chebanenko confirmed in exclusive statements to Batoulat: "So far, there is no agreement with Zamalek's management on concluding the Bezerra deal dues case".

He added: "We have not received any payments from Zamalek, and we checked the accounts a short while ago (Friday until 2:30 PM) and nothing has arrived from them".

The Oleksandriya official expressed his surprise at Zamalek's delay in moving to resolve the crisis, saying: "It is very strange that they remembered late that they are required to fulfill their contractual obligations".

He continued: "It would be unfortunate for me if Zamalek loses its place in the African Champions League because of that, and I hope everything is done on time and everyone is satisfied".

Regarding the negotiations and Zamalek's attempt to reach a settlement, he clarified: "I did not want to reveal the details due to professional ethics, but in general, the proposal they presented was not suitable for us".

He concluded: "Especially if we take into account that we waited a full year, and therefore we considered this proposal inappropriate".
