Khaled Al-Ghamdi, president of Al-Ahli Saudi Club, officially announced his resignation from his position, after a three-year tenure that witnessed numerous achievements and titles.
Saudi reports had previously revealed that Khaled Al-Ghamdi wished to enter the race for the Saudi Football Federation elections for the position of president, and therefore submitted his resignation from the presidency of Al-Ahli Club.

My dear Al-Ahli fans..
After my three-year journey as president of the board of this great entity, which I cherish and take pride in throughout my professional career, I announce today my resignation from the presidency of Al-Ahli Club, a period that witnessed many challenges and achievements, most notably winning two consecutive AFC Elite titles and the Saudi Super Cup.
My deepest thanks to the members of the board of directors, the Public Investment Fund, the club's staff and players, the technical and administrative teams, the club's fan association, and everyone who supported us or differed with us out of concern for the entity.
As for you, the fans of Al-Ahli Club, you have always been the support and partner in every success.
Thank you for your trust and support, and do not forget me in your sincere prayers, for everything achieved was thanks to God first, then your great support. Today I leave the position while Al-Ahli remains towering with its history and fans, with my full belief that it is capable of continuing success and achieving more in all competitions in the future.
