English club Fulham has officially announced the signing of young player Manuel Ángel from Spanish giants Real Madrid during the current summer transfer window.
Manuel Ángel becomes Fulham's third signing from Real Madrid this summer, joining Gonzalo García and César Palacios in the project led by Fulham's new manager.
The 22-year-old player agreed to join Fulham on a three-year contract, keeping him at Craven Cottage until June 2029, with an option to extend for one additional season.
After signing the contract, Manuel Ángel stated: "It is a wonderful feeling to join a historic club like Fulham, the oldest club in London, and to compete in a league like the Premier League, where every player dreams of playing someday."
The promising Real Madrid star added: "I also look forward to experiencing the passion of the fans, especially our supporters at Craven Cottage."
Meanwhile, Tony Khan, Fulham's Vice Chairman and Director of Football Operations, said: "I am very happy to welcome Manuel Ángel to Fulham."
He continued: "He is a talented young player with high energy and remarkable creativity, and we are confident that Manuel Ángel will strengthen the team. Come on, Fulham!"
The club's official website noted that Manuel Ángel is adept at playing with both feet in midfield, is skilled in ball control, intelligent in his movements, and possesses sharp passing vision.
Manuel Ángel began his football career at Sevilla before moving to Real Madrid in 2018, initially joining the U-15 team. He progressed through the ranks until reaching Castilla, where he was appointed team captain by Álvaro Arbeloa at the start of last season.
Incidentally, it was Arbeloa who gave the young player his first-team debut, featuring him in four La Liga matches during the second half of the 2025/2026 season.
Additionally, Ángel participated in the team's UEFA Champions League victories against English side Manchester City last season.
