Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club officially announced this Wednesday evening the signing of Ugandan Kenneth Semakula for a period of 3 seasons.
Al-Ittihad Alexandria said in an official statement: "The Board of Directors of Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club, headed by Mohamed Salama, completed the contracting procedures with Ugandan midfielder Kenneth Semakula, with a contract extending for the next 3 seasons".

He added: "The player signed his joining contracts following the meeting that brought him together with the Chairman of the Board of Directors, to begin a new phase with Al-Ittihad Alexandria".
He continued: "The signing of Semakula came based on the recommendation and approval of technical director Hamza El-Gamal, who confirmed that the player will be an important addition to the team's midfield in the new season".
The statement concluded: "All the best wishes and success to our Ugandan player with the leader of the port".
The Ugandan star previously played with Tunisian club Africain as well as Saudi club Al-Adalah.
The Alexandrian team finished in tenth place in the Egyptian Premier League standings (relegation group) last season.
