Al Ahly Club announced the official completion of the signing with Brazilian winger Francisco Anderson, arriving from the Romanian team Chichirida, during the current summer transfer window.
Al Ahly contracted with Francisco Anderson under a deal that extends for three upcoming seasons, as part of the club's plan to bolster the first team's squad with distinguished elements in preparation for the new 2026/2027 season.
It is worth noting that the 27-year-old winger had joined the Romanian team in 2024 after the end of his contract with Brazilian Santos.
In total, Francisco Anderson played 86 matches for Chichirida, scoring 11 goals and providing 16 assists with the Romanian club.
Anderson had previously played for several Brazilian clubs, most notably Santos, Santa Cruz, and Maringá, before joining Al Ahly.
Al Ahly is scheduled to open the new Egyptian League season for 2026/2027 with a strong match against Abu Qir Fertilizers on Friday, August 21.
