Al Ahly Club announced the signing of the handball legend from Zamalek Club and Egyptian national team player Ahmed El Ahmar.
Ahmed El Ahmar, the former Zamalek player, had announced the end of his career with the White Castle at the end of the previous season.

Al Ahly Club wrote on its official page via "Facebook": "The musician Ahmed El Ahmar, the best left hand in history, is now playing its melodies in our club".
He added: "Officially, the legend and icon of Egyptian and international handball Ahmed El Ahmar in the ranks of Al Ahly Bank".
