Engineer Walid Khalil, Chairman of the Football Company Board at Ghazl El Mahalla Club, said in statements via Yalla Koura: "A comparison is now being made between Al Ahly's offer and another offer from Spain."

When asked about the timing of the final response to the offers received by Mahmoud Salah, given that two days remain until the registration deadline, the president of Ghazl El Mahalla clarified that the matter will be decided very soon.

Walid Khalil concluded: "Today, a response will be given to Al Ahly's offer or Spain's, according to the conditions set by Ghazl El Mahalla for selling Mahmoud Salah."

A source at Al Ahly Club had clarified to Laila Koura that: "There is dissatisfaction among Al Ahly officials due to Ghazl El Mahalla's delay in concluding the deal for Mahmoud Salah."

He continued: "Al Ahly informed Ghazl El Mahalla officials of the necessity to finalize their position within hours, considering that today is the end of the registration period for the 2007 age group team and that Al Ahly is not prepared to register the player on the first team's list."

He added: "Al Ahly's final offer will not change, which is paying 30 million and 10 million 'bonus' linked to contributions and participations in the first season only (see full details)."
