The past few days have witnessed the name of the Brazilian star Vinicius Junior, Real Madrid player, being linked with leaving the Royal Club during the current summer transfer window.
The Brazilian international's contract ends in the summer of 2027, as Vinicius has set his financial terms to continue with the club for a new period.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Sport", the player stipulated receiving a 15 million euro signing bonus, along with an annual salary of 30 million euros.
In contrast, the player's financial demands were not accepted by Real Madrid's management, headed by Florentino Perez, leaving all possibilities open regarding his future.
Press reports had indicated, in the past hours, the possibility of Vinicius moving to the English Premier League, specifically to Arsenal, the English Premier League champions.
The "Gunners" have expressed their willingness to offer the Brazilian player a deal that includes a weekly salary of 400,000 pounds sterling, according to English press reports.
Official clarification
"Yalla Koura" was keen to contact Juan Camilo, the official spokesperson for Real Madrid Club, to find out the Spanish club's position on Vinicius Junior's future.
The official spokesperson for Real Madrid Club replied, saying: "We will not respond to rumors, and any developments regarding the player's future and his contract renewal file will be clarified officially."
The club spokesperson did not answer about the financial terms requested by Vinicius, confirming only that any updates related to the player's future will be announced officially to the media and fans.
Real Madrid had signed Vinicius in 2018, coming from Brazilian Flamengo, in a deal worth 45 million euros.
The 26-year-old has participated, since wearing the Real Madrid shirt, in 375 matches across various local, continental, and international competitions, scoring 128 goals and providing 100 assists during that time.
The market value of the Real Madrid star is 140 million euros, according to the latest update from the "Transfermarkt" website.
Diomande deal
Real Madrid has been working in the past hours to finalize the deal for Ivorian winger Yan Diomande, star of German club RB Leipzig, with the deal's value expected to be no less than 120 million euros.
The Ivorian winger, who participated in the 2026 World Cup held in the United States of America, Canada, and Mexico, has attracted the attention of several major European clubs.
Clubs like Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich were among the most prominent interested in signing the player, before Real Madrid entered the race to acquire the 19-year-old.
Real Madrid's management has also finalized a number of deals to meet the needs of Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, in hopes of returning "Los Blancos" to the podium during the next season.
