Youssef Ibrahim "Obama", striker of Pyramids FC's first football team, expressed his happiness at winning the Man of the Match award in the match against Ghazl El Mahalla in the Egyptian Premier League.
Obama said in televised statements on OnSport channel: "Praise be to God, congratulations to Pyramids and everyone affiliated with the club. I wouldn't have won the Man of the Match award unless I had heroes alongside me on the field."
He added: "I congratulate my teammates on the victory; it's a good start. We will strive and give our all, and success comes from God. The coach deployed me as number 9, and I believe I will perform well in this position. I tried to give my best and follow the coach's instructions, and may God grant us success."
He continued: "We are men, players, and we must send a message to everyone that Pyramids is a club of championships. Winning the league title will make a difference for us as a generation, as a club, and as individuals, and we will achieve it, God willing, through our effort and hard work."

Pyramids secured a 3-0 victory over Ghazl El Mahalla at the latter's home ground in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Obama delivered an outstanding performance and assisted one of Pyramids' three goals against El Mahalla, earning him the Man of the Match award.
