Arsenal club has granted its player Christian Norgaard permission to undergo a medical examination with Everton, in preparation for completing his transfer during the current summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, Everton has reached an agreement with Arsenal to sign the 32-year-old midfielder for approximately 7 million pounds sterling.
The report added that Arsenal has already granted the player permission to undergo the medical examination, with his transfer to Everton expected to be completed in the coming days.
Norgaard did not travel with Arsenal's squad to Dublin in preparation for the new season, while the Brazilian duo Gabriel and Gabriel Martinelli were present after concluding their participation in the 2026 World Cup.
In contrast, Arsenal continues to work on strengthening the midfield, with Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimarães currently the club's top target.
Newcastle had rejected Arsenal's first offer to sign the Brazilian international, valued at around 80 million pounds sterling.
Although Guimarães has not requested to leave Newcastle, reports indicate increasing chances of his departure before the summer transfer window closes, following the exits of Sandro Tonali and Anthony Gordon.
Norgaard's departure will give Arsenal space in the squad list, in addition to reducing wage costs, paving the way for a major midfield signing in the coming period.
Norgaard had joined Arsenal in the summer of last year, after a distinguished spell with Brentford in which he scored 13 goals and provided 18 assists in 196 matches across all competitions.
The Danish international featured in 20 matches for Arsenal last season, but started only one Premier League game, after failing to secure a permanent place in Mikel Arteta's lineup.
Over time, Norgaard slipped down the midfield pecking order, making his departure from the Emirates a viable option should a suitable offer arrive.
