Danish club Nordsjælland defeated its guest, Swedish GAIS, with six goals to nil, in the match that brought the two teams together this evening, Thursday, in the return leg of the preliminary round of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
The events of the match held at Form Park stadium in Denmark were of a good standard, amid near-total dominance from the Nordsjælland side, which succeeded in overturning the one-goal defeat from the first leg.
The match saw Egyptian left winger Ibrahim Adel come on as a substitute in the 65th minute in place of Ghanaian player Prince Amoako, who had scored a goal two minutes before being substituted.
Nordsjælland took the lead in the 11th minute through player Ronar Norheim, before GAIS player Oscar Agren scored an own goal in the 15th minute, while Hjalte Rasmussen scored Nordsjælland’s third goal in the 35th minute.
Ronar Norheim returned to score his second goal and his team’s fourth in the 59th minute, five minutes before Prince Amoako’s goal, while Niklas Roikær scored the sixth goal in the 81st minute, which Ibrahim Adel helped create.
With that result, Danish club Nordsjælland qualifies for the next round of the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers after winning the tie 6-1 on aggregate.
