Fleming Pedersen, the sporting director of Danish club Nordsjælland, revealed details of the club's plan regarding the future of Ibrahim Adel, the team's star and Egyptian national team player.
Ibrahim Adel's name is frequently linked with a return to one of the top clubs in the Egyptian Premier League in the upcoming period; however, his club insists on retaining his services.
Pedersen said in statements to On Sport channel: "Ibrahim Adel has become accustomed to the style of football played in Denmark and has adapted to the country's culture. Therefore, his level is improving day by day, and the more he plays, the more he gets used to the environment."
He added: "Ibrahim Adel's personality gains a lot every day. He is always open-minded, which results in good relationships with all his teammates, and he also has a love for learning."
Regarding the left winger's future, he said: "The plan with Ibrahim Adel is to keep him for several years, as he has a long-term contract with the club, and then sell him to major European clubs afterwards."
Pedersen concluded his statements by saying: "We plan to sell Ibrahim Adel to teams playing in Europe's top five leagues, because he is capable of turning professional in such advanced leagues."
Ibrahim Adel had left the Egyptian Premier League for the first time in the summer of 2025, moving to Al Jazira in the UAE, where he stayed for only six months before transferring to Danish side Nordsjælland.
The 25-year-old Ibrahim Adel initially joined Nordsjælland on loan before the purchase option was activated. He has played 24 matches for his current team, scoring four goals and providing four assists.
