Nice is preparing to face Paris FC away tomorrow in the second round of the French football league.
Nice had drawn 0-0 at home against Lorient in the first round, a match that saw Egyptian professional Mohamed Abd El-Moneem participate after a long absence due to injury.
Mohamed Abd El-Moneem received praise from his coach Olivier Pantaloni ahead of the Paris FC match, in a morale-boosting message to the Egyptian defender, especially after missing last season due to an ACL tear.

Pantaloni said in statements published by the French network "Nice Martin": "I see that we have good options at the defensive level."
He added: "It is true that some players did not participate much last season, and I mean Mohamed Abd El-Moneem for example, but he has delivered an excellent performance since joining us, and his level was a pleasant surprise for me."
Mohamed Abd El-Moneem had returned after participating with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup, where he played only a few minutes against Iran before getting injured and leaving the field.
