Boudaoui's name had been linked with a move to French side Monaco, taking advantage of the "joker" card.
The "joker" card allows French league teams to sign a player from the same competition after the transfer window closes and before next January.
Olivier Pantaloni, Nice's head coach, said in statements carried by the French newspaper "Nice Matin": "Boudaoui was supposed to leave, but it didn't happen."
He added, "Today, he will be with us... He is ready to resume preparation to be part of our group."
Saudi club Al-Ittihad had attempted to sign the Algerian international, but the transfer did not materialize.
Boudaoui (26 years old) has made 207 appearances for Nice since 2019, scoring 14 goals and providing 15 assists.
The international midfielder was absent from Nice's lineup in the first two rounds of the French league.
Nice is preparing to face Le Mans in the third round of the competition tomorrow, Saturday.
