According to what FilGoal.com learned, Petrol Asyut reached an agreement with Laviena to sign Cameroonian Chi Bondi for one season on loan with the option to buy.
The 24-year-old can play in the position of a pure striker.
Bondi began his career with Cameroonian club Lo Astres.
The Cameroonian striker joined Laviena in the summer of 2025 in a free transfer deal.
Petrol Asyut, along with Abu Qir Fertilizers and the Canal, were promoted to the Premier League competitions.
The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association decided to hold the draw for the league championship for the 2026-2027 season on Wednesday, August 5.
The draw will be held at the Goal Project headquarters in Sheikh Zayed City at 3:00 PM Cairo time.
The league is scheduled to kick off on August 21.
The Egyptian League will be held with the participation of 20 teams in the next season.
The tournament will be held in a single round-robin system, after which the top 6 teams will compete in a group for the title, and the remaining teams will compete to avoid relegation.
