The African Football Confederation "CAF" has set the preliminary date for drawing the lots for the African Champions League and Confederation Cup.
And FilGoal.com learned that the preliminary date for the draw will be on August 6 next.
And that CAF will officially settle on the day in the first days of August.
Al-Zamalek and Pyramids are participating in the African Champions League, while Al-Ahly and ZED are participating in the Confederation.
Hani Abu Rida, President of the Egyptian Football Association, had submitted a request to CAF to increase the number of clubs in the Champions League and Confederation tournaments.
But the request was postponed to study the idea of implementing it in the season after next.
