According to what FilGoal.com learned, Ayad Al-Asqalani has passed the medical examination in preparation for joining Pyramids for one season on loan from Russian Rostov with a purchase option.
Al-Asqalani joined Rostov's ranks coming from Ismaily in 2024.
The 21-year-old player was one of the elements of the Egyptian youth national team and also the Olympic team.
Pyramids now has more than one defender, namely Mahmoud Marei, Ahmed Sami, and Osama Galal, after the end of Ali Gabr's contract.
Al-Asqalani played 10 matches in the shirt of Russian club Rostov, knowing that he recently returned from an injury with a cruciate ligament tear.
