The board of directors of Zamalek Club has settled on keeping Abdel Nasser Mohamed as director of football for the first team.
As FilGoal.com learned, it was decided to keep Ibrahim Salah as the coach's assistant.
Consultations are still ongoing between Moataz Jamal and his assistant with the board of directors to settle on the rest of the technical staff members, according to what FilGoal.com
learnedZamalek announced the continuation of Moataz Jamal in his position as technical director of the football team for the new season.
This comes after Zamalek announced the departure of John Edward, the sports director of the Whites.
Moataz Jamal had led Zamalek to win the Egyptian League title last season.
Zamalek said in its official statement: "Keeping Moataz Jamal as technical director of the first football team, and granting him full powers to manage the team's affairs, while providing all the necessary requirements to help him continue the success, after his distinguished experience last season and winning the league title".
Zamalek's preparation period for the new season is scheduled to begin next Saturday, after conducting medical examinations for the players over Thursday and Saturday.
And FilGoal.com learned that John Edward submitted his resignation from his position due to disagreements with the club's management over the work plan for the next season, foremost among them the technical director file and some organizational matters in the team.
