News in Al-Jol - AIK Sweden dues are the reason for the new case to suspend Zamalek's registration

Via FilGoal

learned FilGoal.com the reason for the new penalty imposed by the International Football Association "FIFA" by suspending registration for a period of 3 windows.

FIFA revealed a new case against Zamalek on Friday, July 24, 2026.

And according to what FilGoal.com learned, the new case that caused the suspension of Zamalek's registration is related to the dues owed to the Swedish club AIK in the transfer deal of Omar Faraj.

The amount due to the Swedish club AIK from Zamalek is one million and 100 thousand dollars.

Zamalek Club had previously announced via its "Zamlakawy" app that it had resolved all FIFA cases related to the African license in order to participate in the African Champions League next season.

The African license is linked to the cases for which rulings were issued until March 31, 2026.

The final deadline for obtaining the African license was July 25 of this year.

Thus, Zamalek has only one remaining case related to the disciplinary registration suspension in the case of Moroccan Salah Eddine Mseddi, which does not affect its obtaining the African license.

Zamalek participates in the African Champions League as the Egyptian League champion.

Zamalek returns to participate in the Champions League after an absence of 3 years, during which it was in the Confederation and won the title in 2024 and lost the 2026 final.
