Mohamed Essam, a player for Sharqia Enppi's first football team, scored the second goal for his side against Al Ahly in a match held as part of the 2026/2027 Egyptian Premier League.
Al Ahly is trailing Sharqia Enppi by two unanswered goals in the match played this Sunday evening during the first round of the Egyptian Premier League at Cairo International Stadium.
Sharqia Enppi's goal came in the 24th minute of the match following a brilliant pass from midfield by Emad Mehoub that reached Mohamed Essam, who dribbled it into the penalty area before firing a low shot that nestled into the left corner of the net.
Ali Ehab scored Sharqia Enppi's goal in the 17th minute after a cross entered the penalty area and was mistakenly cleared by Ahmed Nabil Koka directly to Ehab, who controlled the ball and unleashed a powerful shot from outside the box that found the left side of the net.
Mohamed Hamdi Ibrahim of Sharqia Enppi missed a penalty kick in the 23rd minute when he shot the ball wide of the left post.

Hussein Ammouta, Al Ahly's coach, started the match with a lineup including: Mostafa Shobeir, Mohamed Hany - Hady Ryad - Amr El-Gazar - Karim Fouad, Marwan Atia - Ahmed Nabil Koka - Taher Mohamed Taher - Ashraf Bencharki - Ahmed Sayed Zizo, and Monsef Dekrar.
Al Ahly hopes to make a strong start in this season's Egyptian Premier League after finishing last season in third place, having prepared for the new campaign by playing several friendly matches, the latest being against Barcelona.
