Special to the first football team of Al-Ahly Club, its evening training today, Monday, in its camp in Spain, as part of the preparations for the start of the new season's competitions.
At the beginning of the training, Hussein Ammouta, the team's technical director, held a meeting with the players inside the training ground, during which he explained some important points to the players, and praised the high level of focus shown by the players, asking the team members to do their utmost during the upcoming training sessions.
The training began with a focus on the physical aspect and raising fitness levels, through special exercises under the supervision of the team's load planner, before the players were divided into groups for ball training. Ammouta was keen to implement several technical segments, during which he gave the players continuous instructions.
The Algerian Mounsef Bekkar, the team's new striker, participated in the training for the first time after joining the team's camp yesterday, Sunday.
Al-Ahly continues its daily training within its closed camp in Spain, which extends until August 20.
It is scheduled that Al-Ahly will meet with Badalona on August 12 at exactly seven in the evening Cairo time, and then face Spanish Barcelona on August 19 in the Joan Gamper Cup friendly tournament organized by the Catalan team every year.
