The African Football Confederation "CAF" has officially announced the dates for the draws of the preliminary round of the African Champions League and the African Confederation Cup for the 2026-2027 season.
Zamalek and Pyramids will participate in the African Champions League, while Al Ahly and ZED Egypt will represent Egypt in the African Confederation Cup.
"CAF" stated on its official website that the draw ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 6, at the confederation's headquarters in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The African Confederation confirmed that the African Champions League winner will receive 6 million dollars, while the Confederation Cup winner will receive 4 million dollars.

"CAF" also announced the allocation of 100,000 dollars to each club eliminated from the preliminary round.
South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns hold the title of the last edition of the African Champions League, while Algeria's Union of Algiers won the African Confederation Cup.
African Champions League and Confederation Cup draw date
The Confederation Cup draw will begin on Thursday, August 6, at 2:00 PM Cairo time, while the African Champions League draw will be held at 3:00 PM.
The draw ceremonies will be broadcast live on CAF TV via YouTube.
