Liverpool team, led by coach Andoni Iraola, played a friendly match at dawn last Thursday against their opponent Wrexham team as part of the friendly preparations for the upcoming new season 2026/27.
Liverpool managed to achieve victory over Wrexham with a goal without reply, scored by the young player Rio Ngumoha after participating as a substitute.
Strange footage appeared somewhat after the match, where Curtis Jones entered into a strong verbal altercation with star Dominik Szoboszlai, and the first appeared in a state of intense anger and agitation.

After that, Kostas Tsimikas joined the heated dialogue between the two parties, and he also appeared agitated because of Curtis Jones' behavior that caused the crisis from the beginning, before he threw the captain's armband on the pitch.

It seems that Curtis Jones was angry for not getting the captain's armband on the pitch after Szoboszlai's exit, as the latter gave it to Tsimikas.
Szoboszlai is considered one of the most prominent candidates for the position of Liverpool's vice-captain to Virgil van Dijk, after Andy Robertson's departure at the end of last season.
