The Zamalek Club Board of Directors, headed by Hussein Labib, announced several decisions today, Tuesday, the most prominent of which is the position of the new technical director and discussing the resignation of John Edward, the club's sports director.
The Zamalek Club Board of Directors decided to accept the resignation of John Edward from the position of sports director, and also announced keeping Motamed Jamal as technical director of the team for the new season.
The Zamalek Club Board of Directors also set the date for the start of the team's training camp in preparation for the new season.
Zamalek had won the Egyptian Premier League title last season and succeeded in returning to participate in the African Champions League after an absence of 3 seasons.

Zamalek Board of Directors Decisions
First: Accepting the resignation of John Edward, the sports director of Zamalek Club, with thanks to him for the period he spent inside the White Castle, in appreciation of the effort he exerted during his tenure, and holding a honoring ceremony befitting what he presented to the club.
Second: Keeping Captain Motamed Jamal as technical director of the first football team, granting him full powers to manage the team's affairs, and providing all necessary requirements to help him continue success, after his distinguished experience last season and winning the league title.
Third: It was decided that the training camp for the first football team will begin next Friday, as part of preparations for the new season.
The Zamalek Club Board of Directors affirms that it is in permanent session to arrange football matters and announce the name of the new sports director for the football sector soon.
