John Edward, the sports director of Zamalek Club, officially decided to leave his position inside the White Castle before the start of the new season.
John Edward's journey as sports director with Zamalek Club ended due to failure to reach an agreement with the White Castle's board of directors on some administrative matters.
John Edward left due to disagreement over the details of work in the next stage with the Zamalek administration headed by Hussein Labib.
A meeting had brought together Hussein Labib with John Edward to discuss the roadmap for the new season and the financial needs of the first football team, and it witnessed the Zamalek president's reservation about contracting with the Serbian technical director Vuk Razovic and refusing to grant final approval until some details are reviewed.
This matter caused the freezing of the preparation period arrangements and the postponement of determining the camp date and informing the players of the start of the gathering.
