The Czech club Slavia Prague announced this Tuesday evening its signing of the first-team player from Ismaily Club's football squad during the current summer transfer window, on a contract until June 30, 2030, to bolster the team's ranks.
Slavia Club has signed 17-year-old Ibrahim Al-Najawi to strengthen the reserve team, following his standout performances with Ismaily and his participation in 18 matches with the Dervishes in the Egyptian Premier League last season.
Jakub Mareš, Slavia's sporting and technical director, said: "We have been following Ibrahim Al-Najawi since the Africa Cup of Nations last year, when he first caught our attention. We then tracked him in the Egyptian League and at the U-17 World Cup. He is a player who perfectly fits our long-term vision."
He added: "Al-Najawi possesses exceptional speed, excellent physical fitness, outstanding jumping ability, and remarkable movement skills. He also excels at delivering crosses even at high speeds and displays all the attributes of a modern winger on the pitch."

He continued: "He can play as a full-back or winger. We believe he will gradually integrate into our squad, particularly through the reserve team, or he may join the U-20 national team. We want to work with him patiently, develop his abilities, and we are confident he will be among the talented young players who will help build our club's future."
It is worth noting that Al-Najawi played two matches for Egypt's youth team at the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations and four matches at the U-17 World Cup.
