Manchester City Club announced the renewal of the contract of the first-team football player within the Sky Blues' structure in preparation for the new 2026/2027 season.
The English club had announced its signing of 3 new players to strengthen the team in preparation for the upcoming 2026/2027 season.
And Josko Gvardiol, the team's defender, extended his contract with Manchester City Club for 5 seasons until 2031.
The official Manchester City Club website praised the Croatian player, as since his arrival from Leipzig Club in the summer of 2023, he has been able to establish his position as one of the best defenders in European football.
The 24-year-old Croatian defender has proven his worth playing in the defensive line and his remarkable brilliance continued when he played in the left-back position.

Gvardiol participated in 122 matches wearing the Manchester City Club shirt and succeeded in scoring 13 goals.
Gvardiol commented on renewing his contract with the team, saying: "As soon as I knew that City wanted to renew my contract, I immediately felt that this is what I wanted".
He added: "Manchester City fans have been wonderful with me since day one, and the club provides everything for the players, it is the best club in the world".
He continued: "I have felt a lot of love and respect during the three years I spent here, and I do not take that for granted".
He concluded: "The players here are wonderful, this is a world-class team, a young team full of potential, I think we will achieve great success in the coming years".
