Al Ahly Club announced today, Tuesday, the official signing of a new deal to strengthen the ranks of the first football team in the upcoming 2026-2027 football season.
Al Ahly revealed through its official website that it has contracted with the Algerian player Monsef Beqrar, coming from Dinamo Zagreb, to wear the Red Giant shirt for 3 seasons.
Dr. Essam Serageldin, head of the contracts sector, had traveled to Croatia and completed all financial and administrative procedures related to the Monsef Beqrar deal, in coordination with Captain Wael Gomaa, the ball director.
The Algerian Monsef Beqrar excelled with Dinamo Zagreb last season, scoring 18 goals and providing 5 assists in 42 matches in various competitions.
Monsef Beqrar joined Al Ahly Club after the Red Castle administration reached an agreement with Dinamo Zagreb, paying a financial amount of 3 million dollars.
Al Ahly had contracted with 3 deals before Beqrar, namely Sofiane Ben Jedidia, Ali Mahmoud, and Abdullah Aktay.
