The UAE Professional League revealed, on Monday, the list of players nominated to win the best player award in the UAE League Championship for the 2025-2026 sports season, with voting open for five days until August 1 next.
Voting will be available to the captain and coach of each team, the media, and the fans, through the league's official website and its smart applications, and the identity of the winners will be revealed at the annual ceremony scheduled to be held on August 10 next.
The international Rami Rabia, defender of the UAE's Al Ain Club, is competing for the Golden Ball award for best player, which sees 4 players from his club nominated for the award: Matias Palacios, Kodjo Laba, Alejandro Romero, and Sofiane Rahimi.
Also nominated for the award are Nicolas Gimenez, player of Al Wasl Club, and the duo of Shabab Al Ahli, Yuri Cesar and Guilherme Bala, Omar Khribin, striker of Al Wahda Club, and Tariq Tisoudali, player of Khorfakkan Club.

The former Al Ahli defender is also competing for the best player award chosen by the public, which includes 23 players, among them 7 players from Al Ain team besides Rami Rabia: Kodjo Laba, Matias Palacios, Sofiane Rahimi, Alejandro Romero, Khaled Issa, Abdul Karim Traore, and Al Hussein Rahimi.
Also nominated for the award are 6 players from Shabab Al Ahli: Yuri Cesar, Bala, Hamad Al-Maqbali, Renan Victor, Mohammed Al-Mansouri, and Kon Santos Silva, and the trio from Al Jazira: Ali Khaseif, Mamadou Coulibaly, and Vinicius Mello, and the duo from Al Wahda: Omar Khribin and Zayed Ahmed, and from Al Wasl Nicolas Gimenez, and Tariq Tisoudali from Khorfakkan, and Ali Al-Hosani from Ajman, and Abdullah Toure from Al Nasr team, as well as the award for the most beautiful goal chosen by the public.
