Camp Nou stadium hosted the friendly match between Barcelona and Europa, as part of the preparations for the upcoming 2026/27 season.
Barcelona managed to defeat Europa 3-1 in a match that saw Egyptian professional Hamza Abdel Karim make his first appearance with the first team.

Defense: Héctor Fort, Christensen, Gerard Martín, Jofre Torrents.

Barcelona scored their first goal in the 17th minute of the first half, before adding a second through Egyptian Hamza Abdel Karim, leaving his mark quickly in his first appearance with Hans Flick's squad.

Before the end of the first half, Europa reduced the deficit after scoring the first goal in Barcelona's net, and the coach decided to make a change at halftime, bringing in Ter Stegen in place of Szczęsny.
At the start of the second half, Barcelona restored the lead after the third goal was scored early.
