Zamalek's first football team, led by head coach Maatoum Gamal, held its collective training session this Saturday evening at the auxiliary pitch of Air Defense Stadium, as part of preparations for the match against Zed.
The Zamalek technical staff was keen to reduce the physical workload on the players to prevent fatigue ahead of the friendly match against Eastern Company (Enppi), scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, at Petrosport Stadium, in preparation for upcoming official matches.
The players performed a light physical segment under the guidance of Portuguese fitness coach Nuno Costa Ribeiro, which began with running around the pitch, along with some light ball drills.

The technical staff focused on implementing certain tactical aspects during today's training. The players were divided into several groups to practice specific set pieces, before concluding the session with a small-sided game to execute what had been practiced.
Zamalek is preparing to face Zed in the match scheduled for October 7 at El Mokawloon Al Arab Stadium, as part of the first round of the group stage of the Egypt Capital Cup tournament.
