Samir Salah, agent of Ahmed Fathouh, revealed that Libyan club Al-Ahli Benghazi has submitted a new offer to Zamalek to sign the player.
Samir Salah stated via MBC Masr 2 channel: "Al-Ahli Benghazi sent an offer to Zamalek Club to sign Ahmed Fathouh for $500,000, but Zamalek requested raising the offer to $700,000."
He added, "The Libyan club sent a new offer to Zamalek and raised it to $700,000, but Zamalek rejected it and requested raising the offer to $1 million for selling Fathouh. Al-Ahli Benghazi then presented a new offer of $1 million and is awaiting a response from the Whites."
He continued, "Al-Ahli Benghazi also offered Zamalek to loan Fathouh for two seasons for $500,000 if the Whites refuse to sell him."
He completed, "Fathouh is waiting for Zamalek's response; if Al-Ahli Benghazi's offer is rejected, the player remains committed to the Whites until the end of his contract."
He clarified, "If Zamalek agrees to loan Fathouh, he will renew his contract for three seasons to play two seasons with Al-Ahli Benghazi, after which he returns to the Whites."
He concluded his statements, "We are waiting for Zamalek's official response, whether approving the sale or loan of Ahmed Fathouh, as we do not know the club's stance yet."
