FC Barcelona received a major shock after their new player suffered a significant injury that prevented him from completing the match.
FC Barcelona signed seven new players in preparation for the current season: Rodri, Anthony Gordon, Jassi Besiou, Karim Adeyemi, João Cancelo, Livaković, and Gabriel Jesus.
Barcelona Atlètic is playing a tough match against Sabadell in the Catalan Cup final today, Wednesday, as this marks the young Catalan team's first game of the new season.

According to the Catalan newspaper "Sport," Jassi Besiou was forced to leave the Catalan Cup final after the young Belgian winger sustained an injury to his left ankle following a fierce challenge by an opposing player.
The report stated that as Besiou attempted to dribble past the opponent, the Barcelona winger received the ball, and at the moment he moved to confront the defender, the opposing team's right-back stepped directly on his heel.
The player fell to the ground in severe pain, and no foul was called. Besiou continued playing for only 10 minutes before being carried off the field on a stretcher.
The winger joined Barcelona Atlètic to participate in the season's opening match as part of his ongoing adaptation process with Barcelona's reserve team. The Sabadell match was only his second appearance with the squad, following his recent debut under coach Juliano Belleti.
"Sport" concluded that Besiou is scheduled to undergo further medical examinations next Thursday, which will provide a more accurate assessment of the severity of his right ankle injury and determine the duration of his absence from the pitch.
