English club Liverpool announced in a statement issued on its official website earlier today, Tuesday, a new deal to strengthen its squad.
Clubs are moving to finalize several signings before the summer transfer window closes, with departures also being arranged for other players. Liverpool has completed its signing of a goalkeeper.
According to the club, Liverpool reached an agreement with Belgian club Genk to sign goalkeeper Luca Pirogman, with the 18-year-old player signing a long-term contract.
Luca Pirogman will remain with Genk, staying with the Belgian team until the end of the 2026/2027 season.

Luca played 32 matches with Genk's reserve team before being promoted to the first team, making his debut in April 2026.
He maintained his place in Genk's starting lineup, participating in 10 additional league matches, and remained the primary goalkeeper in the new season, starting in all four matches played so far.
The young goalkeeper captained Belgium's U-17 national team at the European Championship and the 2025 U-17 World Cup, and has now become captain of his country's U-19 national team.
