The French club Nantes announced in an official statement issued today, Tuesday, a short while ago, the departure of Egyptian player Mostafa Mohamed from the team.
Nantes stated in its announcement: "Mostafa Mohamed is leaving Nantes Club, and the Egyptian international player joins Konyaspor in a permanent transfer deal. We wish you success in your football career."
For his part, Konyaspor clarified: "We have signed a three-year contract with the Egyptian striker Mostafa Mohamed. The signing ceremony was held at the Konyaspor Museum inside the stadium, in the presence of the Football Director, Ali Kamgöz."
Konyaspor indicated in its statement regarding Mostafa Mohamed's football journey, saying: "Mostafa Mohamed began his professional football career with El Dakhlia Club in Egypt, and previously played for Zamalek, Tanta, Tala'ea El Gaish, Galatasaray, and Nantes."
It concluded: "Mostafa will wear jersey number 42 with our team. We welcome him and wish him success and achievement in our green and white jersey."

Speculation about Mostafa Mohamed's future increased recently, amid the Egyptian player's desire to leave Nantes and his links to the Turkish league.
Mostafa Mohamed had previously played in the Turkish league, joining Galatasaray in 2021 before moving to Nantes.
Recently, Mostafa Mohamed did not participate regularly with Nantes, by decision of the team's coach, Michel Der Zakarian.
Mostafa Mohamed now returns to the Turkish league through Konyaspor, and this season the league witnesses the presence of the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, who plays for Trabzonspor.
