FC Barcelona has officially announced the signing of Brazilian Gabriel Jesus during the ongoing 2026/2027 summer transfer window, with the player joining from Arsenal.
So far, Barcelona has signed Anthony Gordon, Karim Adeyemi, Jesse Piers, Rodri, and João Cancelo to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.
Barcelona revealed through its official account on the social media platform "X" that it has officially signed the Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus to bolster the team's attack.
The Catalan club's account attached a video featuring "a blue phone and a red one," a reference to the Brazilian forward's famous celebration.

Previous reports indicated that Barcelona had signed the Brazilian forward from Arsenal after failing to secure Julian Alvarez during the current transfer window, due to Atletico Madrid's outright refusal to sell him to any La Liga club.
Gabriel Jesus will wear the number 9 shirt, the same number previously worn by Robert Lewandowski. The Brazilian forward's contract runs until 2029, with the deal valued at 14 million euros, including a 20% future sale clause for Arsenal.
