English club Liverpool announced the departure of another player from its squad this summer in an official statement issued today, Monday, via its website.
This summer witnessed numerous changes at Liverpool, including the dismissal of manager Arne Slot and the appointment of Andoni Iraola. Star player Mohamed Salah also departed for Turkish club Trabzonspor, alongside several other players.
Liverpool stated in its announcement that it had reached an agreement for the departure of player Stefan Bajcetic to his former club, Spanish side Celta Vigo, after spending five and a half years with the Reds, during which he participated in 22 matches for the first team and scored one goal.
Bajcetic, aged 21, returns to his former club, having previously joined Liverpool from Celta Vigo in 2021.

At the age of 17, Bajcetic made his debut for Liverpool's first team under Jürgen Klopp as a second-half substitute during Liverpool's 9-0 victory over Bournemouth at Anfield in August 2022.
He scored his first goal in Liverpool's 3-1 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League in 2022, participating in 19 matches during that season.
He was loaned to Red Bull Salzburg and Las Palmas during the 2024-2025 season but was unable to participate in the 2025-2026 season.
