Barcelona secured their second consecutive victory after defeating Athletic Bilbao with two clean goals in a postponed match from the first round of the Spanish football league.
Barcelona's only goal in the first half came in the 37th minute through the Brazilian Raphinha, who broke away against Unai Simón after receiving a brilliant pass from Pedri.
The first half witnessed repeated attempts by Barcelona to score the opening goal, including a header by Eric García in the 9th minute and a shot by Lamine Yamal in the 12th minute.

Unai Simón also shone, saving another shot by Lamine Yamal in the 20th minute, while Barcelona managed to secure their first-half lead thanks to the Brazilian Raphinha's goal.
The second half saw the debut of new signing Rodri for Barcelona in the 63rd minute, replacing the Brazilian Raphinha, who left the field to the applause of the fans.
Athletic Bilbao's goalpost prevented a shot by Lamine Yamal, and later saved another attempt by an away team player in the 74th minute. Fermín López scored Barcelona's second goal in the 82nd minute following a brilliant effort by substitute Karim Adeyemi, who nearly added a third goal had it not been for Unai Simón's brilliance in the 87th minute.
Hamza Abdulkarim remained on Barcelona's substitutes' bench for the second consecutive match after Hans Flick used all his available substitutions.
