UEFA is holding the draw for the league phase of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League on Thursday evening in Monaco.
As in the previous two editions, 36 teams are participating in the Champions League league phase. They are divided into four pots, with each team facing eight opponents—four matches at home and four away.
A team cannot face another club from the same national association, but it may encounter up to two teams from the same country during the league phase.
The top eight teams qualify directly for the Round of 16, while those ranked between 9th and 24th advance to the playoff round, which consists of two-legged ties (home and away).

Pot 1: Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Manchester City, Arsenal, Barcelona, Atlético Madrid.
Pot 2: Borussia Dortmund, Roma, Sporting Lisbon, Aston Villa, Porto, Manchester United, Club Brugge, Real Betis, PSV Eindhoven.
Pot 3: Feyenoord, Lille, Napoli, RB Leipzig, Villarreal, Shakhtar Donetsk, Galatasaray, Bodø/Glimt, Fenerbahçe.
Pot 4: Slavia Prague, Stuttgart, Lens, Como, Sabah, LASK Linz, Slovan Bratislava, AEK Athens, Viking FK.
