Ivan Chebanenko, the technical director of the Ukrainian club Oleksandriya, stated that his club received an official letter from Zamalek Club regarding the transfer of the dues for the deal of the Brazilian player Juan Bezerra.
The Brazilian winger joined the ranks of Zamalek Club last summer coming from the Ukrainian Oleksandriya, where the latter filed an official complaint against the "White Castle" to demand the dues of the deal.
Chebanenko said, in exclusive statements via "Yalla Koura" today, Friday, that the management of Zamalek Club sent a letter transferring the deal funds, to confirm that the value of the deal was transferred officially.
Press reports indicated that Zamalek Club transferred 800 thousand dollars, which is part of the deal for player Juan Bezerra, before the Egyptian club sent the transfer letter to the Ukrainian club to confirm the transfer of the amount.
The technical director of the Ukrainian club added that the amount sent by the management of Zamalek Club has not yet entered his club's account, which prompted the Egyptian club's management to send the transfer letter.
The Ukrainian club will have to wait until banks in Ukraine resume operations at the beginning of the week to confirm the arrival of the amount, due to the weekend holiday.
Zamalek Club wants to close this file in order to obtain the license to participate in the African Champions League competition in the next 2026-2027 season, before July 25 of this month.
Zamalek team had qualified for the African competition after winning the Egyptian League title for the past 2025-2026 season.
