Egyptian international star Hamza Abdel Karim, striker of FC Barcelona's first football team, received glowing praise from the African duo Jean-Marie Dongou and Keita Baldé following his recent impressive performances with the Blaugrana.

Young Egyptian international striker Hamza Abdel Karim is preparing to make his first official appearance wearing the Barcelona jersey in a match scheduled for 10:30 PM Cairo and Mecca time.

German coach Hans Flick decided to include Hamza Abdel Karim in Barcelona's first-team training camp; he has already played against Girona, Birmingham City (scoring two goals), Nottingham Forest, Udinese, and Al Ahly in the Joan Gamper Trophy, where he scored a wonderful goal.

Former Barcelona player Cameroonian Jean-Marie Dongou spoke about Hamza's strengths in statements to "Sport": "He is a player with an exceptional scoring instinct, naturally talented, and excels at playing inside the penalty area."

He added: "His goal-scoring movements reflect a top-class player, although he still needs to develop several aspects of his performance, as he lacks some moves that require minimal mental preparation."

Meanwhile, Senegalese international and former Barcelona player Keita Baldé, currently with Italian club Monza, expressed great admiration for Hamza's potential, saying: "Last year I was told that Barcelona had signed an excellent Egyptian striker; I followed him and found him to be an extremely promising player."

He concluded: "If we cannot sign Julián (Álvarez), I would choose Lautaro and keep Hamza as an alternative option to allow him to develop gradually."
