The official Al Ahly Club account published exclusive clips showing Mostafa Shoubir, the first-team goalkeeper, inside the Makhtar Tete Stadium, during a photo session following the extension of his contract.

Mostafa Shoubir appeared holding an Al Ahly jersey bearing the number 2029, a reference to the years he will remain with the Reds at minimum, along with other shots featuring the ball near the iconic Cairo Tower, which is closely associated with the Reds.

Mostafa Shoubir decided to continue his career with Al Ahly Club despite recent offers, at a time when the Reds also wanted to retain their international goalkeeper, who has become the standout figure on the scene in recent times.

Mostafa Shoubir has featured in three official matches this season, conceding two goals during the match against El Sharqia Enppi in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League, while keeping a clean sheet in two other matches against Zed and Smouha.

Shoubir is awaiting his inclusion in the next Egypt national team camp, to continue the brilliance that has made him the Pharaohs’ starting goalkeeper in the recent 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
